My grand daughter just loves them!!These jeans do have button elastic so feel free to size up. That is a huge selling point for me and any kids pants with a button and zipper AND button elastic should definitely make a point of highlighting the button elastic feature. Many younger kids can struggle with buttons and zippers so I am always looking for button elastic which means that my 5 year old can easily use the bathroom on his own without having to fiddle with the hardware on pants. I will note that there isn't anything inherently female about these jeans. Boys can wear them too though you may want to size up. These are definitely skinny jeans so that is another reason to size up if you want them to last a full season or more. The denim has a decent amount of stretch so they provide a lot of comfort for an active child. Would probably order again.These jeans fit perfectly! I like the dark blue color of these denim jeans. The pockets are a nice size in front and back. My daughter says she likes how the material feels on her legs. There is an elastic belt inside the pants to adjust the size. No belt is needed. These jeans look great on and are comfortable to wear! The length was just right and they don't fade in a cool water wash. I air-dried these to keep them from shrinking. They are a lifesaver for small waisted kids. The dark wash color looks similar to the product photo. My daughter says they are comfortable. They wash and dry with no issues.These jeans have a decent amount of stretch, and the fabric is not too stiff. My child says they are comfortable to wear, and they can bend and run in these well. My child can manage a real button, but the snap is still easier.These fit well, except the waist is a little too big. But they are adjustable - they have that inner elastic band with buttons along the length. So I would not change the size I ordered.The "dark wash" is a little darker than shown, but still nice. They washed up well without fading, and minimal shrinkage.Great quality jeans! Perfect color and fit. My daughter is a size 6 and on the taller side. They fit perfect.
