These came in EXTRA FAST....that I loved!!! The shaft of the boot was shorted than I expected. I am 5'2 and they came about an inch maybe two above my ankle. Also I wear a 7.5, 8 in women's and purchased a 6 in big girls the boot big enough to slide up and down on your foot as you walk. The elastic piece that you are supposed to use to tighten the boot, broke and came completely out. I would send them back but I have no other shoes with me.I had to return them. The boots are good quality, however not for toddlers. I'm looking to buy Winter boots for my now 13 month old (and great walker), but those boots were hard to put on. It's difficult to tell if her foot is all the way in. They are also quite bulky and she was tripping over her feet. I will look for boots with as vertical slit that opens the boot all the way so you can see the foot inside the boot. Great boot, but for an older child.I would have given a better rating, but the elastic cord ripped out the first time my daughter put them on. Since the whole point of boots is to keep snow out, they are pretty inefficient without the cord.The only thing is that the string to tighten the shoes are too easy to pull out. My 4 yr old pulled the string off. So I have to find something to replace it.My daughter loves theses boots for the snow hoever, the tab/string in the front broke off after the third use! The string is supposed to tighten the boot so snow cannot go inside, and it just snapped right off. Very dissappointing! I am wondering if these are even real Polo boots or just a knockoff fake brand. Buyer beware!!These are mediocre quality and the sizing is completely inaccurate. They are literally huge, almost 3-4 sizes larger than the purchased size. They are also difficult to put on a toddler and are too bulky. They don’t feel durable and the silver top of the boot feels like cheap plastic that would rip. I was disappointed with the purchase. I returned this product. This is the third pair of Ralph Laruen toddler shoes that I have been unsatisfied with so I won’t be ordering this brand anymore.I'm happy with this purchase for the most part...the Velcro strap does not reach far enough for a completely snug fit, but the size is fine and therefore the boot stays on. The top can be tightened as well, and there is an extra layer of fabric inside to keep feet warm.I have an 8yr old son with a size 6 foot. I wanted an easy slip on boot that had room for thick socks and a growing foot. I'm a ladies size 10 and I was able to get my foot into the size 7 boot with my toes somewhat smashed. My 8yr old son LOVES the room and the ease and comfort of the boot. Boot works fine for down south where temp. is normally 27-35 degrees during portions of the winter. We have not tested this boot in colder climates as of yet.
