This may be my first Amazon review but I had to, I cannot believe this thing exists. Somehow it meets every single requirement I could have and I have probably tried every baby carrier style and brand with my firstborn - slings, wraps, you name it. Our go-to ended up being the Ergo, which I liked but it is so bulky that it wasn't very easy to take anywhere.The Co Carrier could not be anymore convenient to carry around, it packs up so small. When you have kids you have a lot of STUFF and it is just no fun to try and transport a bulky carrier. But the slim carriers like the wraps are not easy to use. This thing is easy and COMFY, I actually prefer it to the Ergo. I think it's because it just sits in a better place on my back and the straps feel better. My little one loves it, no complaints there. We have recently used the hip/side position and it's awesome because she likes being able to see what mama is up to but is way too heavy for a front-carry.I also personally really like the aesthetic, it's super minimal and clean. I really only wish I had it with my firstborn. Highly recommend.This is the first carrier I’ve seen that has an interchangeable piece for smaller or larger babies. Very interesting idea! Once you get it set up it’s easy to use and wear. Soft fabric and a good hold for baby.It’s a great idea for a carrier.THE GOOD- Soft structured.- can easily switch from infant to regular size- front, hip, and back carry- good quality material- can fold up quicklyTHE BAD- the front carry can be hard to get the straps over your head- doesn’t have a hoodThis seems expensive for a baby carrier but it will last you for years so it’s a worthy investment in my opinionHope the pictures help.This Baby Carrier from CO Family is especially lightweight and has the ability to go from newborn to toddler. I found the included directions to be insufficient to help me set up the carrier, and I got another family member to help. Directions should be complete and detailed. I do appreciate the videos on the company website to fill in most of the blanks. I would recommend taking your time to familiarize yourself with the specific version you'll be using so that it isn't stressful getting the baby settled. Smart idea. Highly recommend!I have tried numerous baby carriers and as a plus sized women am struggling to find one that fits and works well. I found this one awkward to put on and it did not fit well.At first I was a bit skeptical, but this carrier is great! Having a baby is buying multiples of everything until you find something your baby likes (or at least won't cause screaming fits.) We have 5 different carriers/wraps. Every baby is different and what one likes another will hate.This carrier is ridiculously comfortable, lightweight, and the exact opposite of bulky. The straps are very flexible and super comfortable. The fabric of this carrier is lightweight enough for baby not to overheat yet flexible enough to allow movement. This is the most versatile carrier I have ever seen with interchangeable sizes. Laundering this carrier was a breeze!Bottom line - this carrier is awesome, it’s lightweight, minimal in bulk, fits our baby perfectly, and doesn’t overheat our baby.Overall Value: I am very impressed with the overall design, comfort and unique features of the CO carrier. This is a very versatile carrier that can be used in several different positions. I love everything about the carrier, especially the versatility and high-quality materials. The “look” is minimalistic and very classy. I’ve had one baby carrier that was a simple front and back facing one, but wasn’t as sturdy nor as well-made. There is a decent book-like user manual with step-by-step instructions and visuals.The high-quality material is sturdy and is very well sewn. The carrier is machine washable and instructions for laundering are outline in the manual. Most carriers aren’t meant for newborns, but this one offers up full instructions on how to use it. Usually see inserts available for an infant, but they can be quite costly. No need to purchase anything extra with this carrier. This type of carrier is designed for the 7-to-35-pound infant / toddler.I’m totally impressed with everything about the CO and feel the expense is worth it. After a while setup and use will be intuitive, but practice prior to using it with an infant or toddler is advise. Limited WarrantyThis carrier just feels so luxurious. It’s a very soft material and not like your normal carriers. It’s a mix between a wrap and a carrier so you get the best of both worlds. The softness from the wrap and the security of a carrier. It comes with two sizes, a newborn one and a toddler one. Very, very nice.
