I’m a mom of 3 and I’ve tried every blanket out there. This is the best. I thought it was soft and attractive and a great size. My son liked it. But I was truly impressed when I grabbed it after getting chilly on a long car ride and it was so soft, lightweight, and yet felt like it was a heated blanket. It feels so luxurious and warm and the size is slim and lightweight enough for a newborn, large enough to use for a toddler bed, and it turns out this is a great travel blanket for adults. I never bought one of these because of the poor pattern choices and price, but I regret not having this blanket for my first kids. I do wish they would make some versatile patterns. Could we get a green? Or gold? The night sky pattern is nice.Perfect weight blanket to regulate picky toddler's temperature at night. But, it's too small, so had to buy two and sew them together. No more complaints of sweaty or cold.Yes, it's a little pricey, but both the cotton and the wool are wonderfully soft. My daughter and son-in-law were skeptical of wool, and were concerned it would be too much trouble to care for, but this has won them over. It keeps baby warm and comfortable, better than any of his other blankets. It gets machine washed on cold / delicate with wool wash, and then draped over a dryer rack to air dry. I got the toddler size so my grandson could use it for a long time.Ok I would give this product 10 stars if I could. I know it was on the expensive side as other reviewers had said but so worth it! I didn't know what to expect and had the option of free returns if needed. First off, this blanket is extremely soft. Not synthetically soft but rather the soft you want surrounding your baby. Secondly, it is not bulky but oh so warm. I can see how it will be cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It was 55 in our house last night and the baby was toasty warm. We forgot to turn the heater on after the fire died down. I felt good knowing the baby would be warm. Lastly, the pattern was a concern to me. I like things plain and organic looking so i was not exactly thrilled with the idea of stars on a blanket. I thought they would be cheesy looking and large and almost obnoxiously present, not to mention scratchy but they are delicate and soothing and perfect for a baby blanket. I love this blanket. My son,17 mo, and I cuddled in it this morning when he woke up for his early morning feeding. It was freezing in the house but with the blanket around us both in the chair we were cozy warm. I seriously would love to buy one of these in adult size. It has a great feel. I guess I am just so used to fleece blankets or crochet blankets. This just felt so good on the skin. I highly recommend this blanket. It also has no chemical odor which is always nice when you buy organic. This will be the one blanket I keep after he grows up. I only wish I had bought this for the other 5. So happy with my purchase. It’s super soft and light weight. But after 1 wash it needs to be shaved.I used to worry about my toddler being too warm or too cold at night until I discovered this blanket. It is truly a 4-season blanket. In the summer she is not too hot under it and in the winter she very rarely needs to layer on another blanket. Wool is wonderful! And this blanket isn't scratchy AT ALL. My mom could hardly believe it's wool, it's so soft. The only thing is, it's obviously really expensive, and you really CANNOT put it in the dryer. Do yourself a favor and buy two of these, so your baby still has one to use while you hang the newly washed one to dry. Luckily it does dry really fast. We had to throw our original one in the dryer a few times because of emergencies (we were traveling and had only brought one) and it's now about 1/4 smaller. You might think you can get away with it on very low heat but you just can't. Anyways I just bought a third one I know it's so expensive but I just love it and I wish I could get a king-sized one for my bed.I don't understand why people leave bad reviews because of the price, you know the price before hand...Anyways, I think it's a great blanket, for a few reasons:1. It is GOT certified, I try to use organic things (especially for sleep, since kids spend more than half their day in their bed).2. It made of wool, so it can be used all year round, so no need to buy a few blankets, which saves money.3. Definitely not cheap looking, other wool blankets I saw are not made this way, this has few layers and is not see through, so it's actually like a sleep blanket and not a throw, it really fully covers baby/kid with no holes.4. It is BIG, so you can use for many years and for many uses, bed, travel, stroller.5. Super soft I wish it was for adults too6. SO Pretty! I love the stars!I will definitely buy more when needed, it's worth the money in my eyes, as I don't have to buy few blankets and it's the healthiest choice for my kid.I got this blanket primarily because it said was made out of merino wool. I got the blanket and it was heavier than I expected. The organic cotton portion was soft, thick and pretty heavy. The wool portion was super thin but smooth. I was expecting thicker wool. The thing I dislike about this wool is how fragile it is. If it gets a snag, it will start to fall apart like pantyhose. Another thing I dislike is the weight of this blanket. My son crawls right out of this blanket and remains uncovered all night long in the middle of the winter. This never happened with the light weight blankets since they would travel with him on top as he wiggled around.Overall I like that this blanket combines wool and cotton and is very soft and smooth. Dislike the heavy weight and how fragile and thin the wool portion is.We had been using Woolino sleep sacks exclusively for our daughter since she was about 6 months old. She tends to run a bit warm, but we never have to worry about her being too hot or cold no matter the season. So happy to find these toddler blankets for when she felt like too much of a "big girl" for her sleep sacks. They are a big investment but absolutely worth every penny. Just remember to wash them with wool wash and hang to dry and they'll last for years!10 stars! My son only wants to sleep with this blanket. He rejected his ikea comforter so I will have to end up buying a second woolino blanket as the initial one I bought was for his daycare naps. I bought it about a year ago and it's held up very well with washes and is still nice and soft. Very well made product and worth the investment ?Good size for crib and for traveling, soft, but feels thin and not warm enough. Hard to say if there's any wool inside at all. I have an identical sleeping sack and the material feels thicker. Its an ok blanket, I will keep it, but I think its a bit overpriced.Big and cozy, you don't need to wash often!Toddler loves it!Regulates body temp good for all 4 seasons! The blanket is soft and lightweight. My toddler took to it right away. He is able to use it even when his room gets warm. We also took it on our vacation with us and was greatful for it being easy to pack.
