My kid loves it! This bed frame also makes me feel better since he can’t roll off the bed. A bit difficult to put together but after looking at the pictures you can figure it outIt was easy to put together but im missing stickers! So this bed is a FRAME ONLY.THE only this on the bottom is a "strap" like a belt supposedly" holding" the frame together .I stepped on it and it popped right out.But it does not take away from the bed FRAME.I also used my IKEA crib mattress, it fits fine not perfect. I have a big 2.5 year old..I almost buy another one but NOT worth buying another crib mattress when the bed FRAME itself is convertible.I rather wait and get the twin mattress.I love this FRAME because my son never willingly slept in his crib..even when he is sound asleep and he felt himself being lowered in there he would wake up. HE ALWAYS SLEPT IN MY BED.The FIRST DAY he got this FRAME he went in there and sleep not on his own, but after I read his bedtime stories and he finish breastfeeding..yes 2 years still breastfeeding. LolHe sleeps in his bed everyday!! Although he will wakes up and come to my bed to feed through the night I put him back, or he go on his own depends how alert he is. ALTHOUGH most time around after 4 or 5 am he wants to sleep in my bed and that's fine because that increases his chance of waking a little later that after 7..which he always up earlier when in his bed.I added lights to his carz fairy light .I also added his crib bumper in there through the corners where the parts screws in. IT'S NECESSARY ALTHOUGH it doesn't stops all the BANGS during the night from wild sleeping.I feel bad it's loud because the bed is like hard plastic, but better than Wood..IF it was Wood I might find knots in the am.Nice bed simply because MY SON SLEPT IN THERE WILLINGLY and I no longer have to sleep at the very EDGE of my bed because my son is BOSSY and would kick me off my own bed if his feet is within reach of my body..he needs his OWN space. This bed is amazing. I am haven't put the stickers on yet as I am going to add some Batman ones to make it a Batmobile. My son will not sleep alone and he never used his crib (I am still breastfeeding). As he is 1 now it was too dangerous to keep him in my bed because he crawls so good. So we got this one so we could make it as wide as a twin but as long as a toddler bed as a twin would take up too much room for now. We can lay with him to get him to sleep and he has slept the last 3 nights all night by himself! It lays on the floor so there is no weight issue. Later we can add a box spring as a twin to boost the bed higher when he doesn't need the rails. I shoved some pillows in the sides as a bumper. It was so easy to assemble. I have not attached the fins yet because they do require you to pull out the bed further so we may install them backwards so we can push it up against the wall. This was so easy to install, I did it in like 30 minutes. Make sure to get the little black beads out of the screw holes that got left behind in the moulding process(I think that may have been the problem for some). The screws all have metal threaded holes so attaching it was so easy and we will easily be able to adjust as many times as we want. Best bed ever!!It was super easy to put together! Mom put all the stickers on and Dad screwed it all in place. We love that it can start as a toddler bed and grow with our son into a twin bed. Son loves it! He is obviously obsessed with cars so when he saw this HUGE car bed he was shocked! Overall super happy witb it. Would recommend! So my son is finally to the age he is graduating from a crib to a “big boy” bed. He’s on cloud nine because in his mind he is not a baby anymore. So we order this product and we are excited because of next day delivery. We build up the excitement by telling our son, “tomorrow night you get to sleep in your big boy bed!”Then the next day happens. Our product arrives, daddy has all his tools ready to assemble, mommy is gonna place all the stickers and decals perfectly, we’re ready to go. Our two kids rushed with excitement help carry the bed piece by piece to my son’s room. We’re ready to go... then disaster sets in.My son is not moving up. He’s not graduating to a big boy bed. And here is why. At some point, someone screwed up. I get it, these are mass produced plastic pieces, but at the end of the day no one checked to make sure our box had a complete set. And once we laid out all our pieces we found out we did not have a piece F. Rather we had two identical piece H’s. (I work in the automotive industry so I’ll break it down to you like this; we were sent two driver side fenders, but no passenger fender to match). I could not make a complete race car.I was mad because this was going to be a weekend event. Daddy was going to build the new bed and my son was going to celebrate being a big boy.... end of story. After I calmed my screaming son and explained that he would have to wait for his “big boy” bed, we then settled in on what we need to do next.I should have just returned the product to Amazon. They do a great job with returns, customer service, and overall resolution, but instead I make my second mistake (the first was buying this bed). Inside our box is a card that says “don’t return to your retailer, if you have a problem call this number.”I tell my wife, “let’s call this number and give them a chance to make things right.” God bless her for listening to my stupidity, and she says “ok.”The next day my wife calls the help line and talks to a customer service representative. The rep tells my wife that she will receive an email with instructions to file a claim. My wife waits, no email. My wife follows up, explains sob story again and this time gets an email with instructions on how to file a claim. We file a claim. The company request “proof” they didn’t package the bed right. We send them pictures of two driver side fenders. Company responds they will resolve. We wait.Today we received our resolution. Almost two weeks after we ordered our next day, red, toddle race car bed, we received our piece F (the passenger side fender), and to our delight... it is... blue... not matching any of the other components of the car.So two weeks after ordering a next day product I have a son still sleeping in a crib, a bed that if put together would still need a paint job, a frustrated wife, and an overall loss of my faith in humanity. So at the end of the day, don’t buy this bed.damage boxes and scraped damaged parts. missing mounting bolts. My order arrived with no installation manual nor hardware to build it. Did I get a returned item? I only got a bunch of plastic parts that can’t be assembled and a disappointed toddler who wont be able to sleep on his new bed car.Update: The seller helped to get the missing parts so Im updating this review to 3 stars. Due to transit time, I had to wait a couple of weeks but the problem is fixed now.My Grandson loves his New big boy Bed. Excellent transissioning bed from crib. Great buy for your money. Product is beautifully made easy to assemble, very durable- Will definitely purchase again soon, for my other grandson when it's time.It was super easy to put together, came with all the screws and the right pieces and my son seems to love it already considering he can now climb in and out of bed by himself after switching from a crib. Only thing it was missing was 2 stickers for the wings on the back of the car but I’ll me phoning to ask for them to mail them since I paid for all the pieces and stickers lolWe just built the bed and my son loves it. There were issues initially regarding missing hardware. However, the seller was very helpful/prompt in sending the missing screws to build the bed.Love it, easy to assemble and exactly as shown in the picture. My 3 yr old was so excited to get his first car bed!
