Keeps my feet warm.I know I love Sorel boots. I feel the difference in them verse my cheap Polars I wear as barn boots. So when it came to boots to keep myKids feet warm during our extended periods of time outside I decided the extra investment was worth it.These boots are nice enough to be my 3YOs every day wear shoes. They are extremely easy to clean up, and are waterproof. Easy on and off (he can do it himself).I did order an 8 originally which is his current shoe size, but they were much too tight- so we exchanged for a 9 and they fit him perfectly. If you’re debating on sizes, I say go up!As an adult buying kids shoes, I wasn't worried about all the reviews saying that these were too heavy for their children to wear. I probably should have been. These things are heavy, but not too heavy to wear for a few hours. This is the only pair of snow boots I've ever owned/worn, so take that into account for my opinions. The closure thing is not as secure as I would have liked it to be; it felt like the foot area was comfortably snug (with thick socks) but the ankle area was loose and could not be fixed by tightening the string thingy because it would simply come undone again. I suspect this isn't a problem with children who are less picky about fit (which is who this item is intended for). On the bright side, they are certainly comfortable to use that one time a year I go snow tubing, and the purple color is fabulous!My daughter loves these boots, and has lived in them since we bought them. She had a growth spurt and her other brand snow boots didn’t fit so we purchased these for her. We did size up so she has more room to grow more into them. She does wear thicker socks with them. She loves the toggle to tighten them, and the color. I love that they are holding up very good for her wearing them every day.Good boots. Purchased for my nephew, who has a wide foot. Once he sat still long enough for us to get them on, they fit great and he looked comfortable. I purchased the black, as well as the khaki color (regular, no wide width was available but regular boot worked out anyway). Black is a canvas upper with rubber bottom & sole. Khaki one is a coated leather with rubber sole & bottom.Sorels have lived up to their reputation. These have survived through 2 seasons of winter mountain fun. The kid will occasionally complain that they are heavy, especially when we are on a long hike but his feet stay warm and dry at the end of the day. Normal shoe size is 2 so I would size down half to 1 size.I love the actual boots, they are well made and seem to be great for the cold weather expected, they unfortunately are too small and we need to exchange for larger size. Only see option to return but wish to exchange for (1) size larger. Can we arrange an exchange?This is the second pair of Sorel’s I’ve purchased. These will keep your kiddos feet warm and dry! I love that I can remove the interior wool shoebed and dry it out quickly near a heater vent (if I find snow went inside the boot). Such a great snow boot!The boots are massive. I have size 5 to 6 uk feet and these boots are vast. I ordered a 6 having read the reviews but have pictured them next to some other size 6 boots I have. The sole is very rigid so even with mega thick socks I can't walk in them as they are so loose. I was hoping to have them for visiting my family in very snowey conditions but despite being a prime order and told they would be here the next day they took 3 extra days to arrive so I can't even swap them for a smaller size in time. All in all very disappointing as they look like they wpuld be grippy and waterproof. I will be sending them back.Great product. Very warm, dry and comfortable and 6 year old loves them. Only issue is that one of the laces broke after first use. Very tricky to contact seller so I have just taken to cobblers to get fixed. Annoying as paid good money for them. Great product otherwise.Poorly quality compared to the adults sent bsckBought the boots for my 2 yo son. The boots looks very warm, flexible enough for little one to run around and true to size.Perfect for apres ski boots and hiking near mountains.
