The bed is pretty easy to put together other than that a few pieces were mislabeled, unlabeled, and unclearly labeled. We were able to figure out what was what based on process of elimination. Having pre-drilled countersunk bolt holes made assembly easier, but it also made the bed somewhat wobbly after assembled. It looks great but the joints just don’t feel snug and secure. Additionally, there is not enough clearance under the bed to be able to easily slide the trundle in and out. We initially purchased a low profile 5” mattress for the trundle, but that made it impossible to fit the trundle under the bed. I contacted the seller and they provided a link to the 4” mattress they recommend. The trundle still does not slide under and out without a struggle. It will fit after smushing and shoving, but it’s not realistic for daily use. My husband will be having to add wooden blocks under the bed legs to raise it enough for the trundle to have sufficient clearance. The bed does look exactly like the pictures, though.This bed wouldn't be worth hair the money the company is charging. Super complicated to put together, with multiple pieces not having predrilled holes. I had to use a level and framing square to make sure the supports for the mattress slats got in straight. The hardware doesn't stay tight either. I have to tighten the bolts every few months. Finally, it doesn't hold up structurally. Only 6 or 7 months in and one of the cross beams is cracked and sagging. I'm going to have to either rig a make shift support or order replacement parts.Final analysis: pick literally any other bed out there instead of this one!Nice frame. Nothing too fancy, pine material. Be sure to keep the Allen wrench handy if you don't have a set as the frame will eventually come loose at least once will just require a quick tightening on each screw.I'd say for value for the money, it could have been made out of better wood or at least a bit cheaper.Otherwise pretty decent product.Good solution for our 4 year old and added some star lights to drape around the top frame for a night light. Our son loves it!!Made of very soft pine wood. The finish is good, but:1. The way top mounts to the bed frame is very flimsy. It will not last if you have a boy who likes to climb or hang from the top rail. Could be improved by using some long bolts to reinforce the corners.2. The bed slats are very thin and flimsy. Each time i lay down with my kids (i'm skinny at 140lb) i can hear the wood creaking, so i'll be reinforcing this part.Very sturdy my daughter loves it for its price. It didnt take us long to assemble. I sometimes lay beside her and it sturdy enough i feel asleep beside her.Value for the money. We are using the tundler bed as a Montessori floor bedI bought the small 66x30x60 and I cannot find a mattress that fits this bed. Why not make it a twin or a toddler size.
