This is such a cute bed seems sturdy enough for a toddler. I would suggest having an assistant with putting it together. Cuz you will struggle slightly. But a single person can do it with patience. Probably took just over an hour to assemble.Purchase for my grandson’s twin bed it’s awesome sturdy fits perfectly highly recommendI saw other reviews that mentioned how difficult it was to put together and I wish I put more stock in them. The only tool the bed provides is an Allen key, no cheap screwdriver. So keep that in mind. Might also want a low power screw gun for the "self drilling screws."The bed relies heavily on bolts going into barrel nuts that you have to hold in place as you screw the bolts in. So it's almost a 4 handed affair, as you hold the two pieces together while holding the barrel nut in place and screw in the bolt. It's a really poor system. Help is recommended. Some of the bed slats were slightly twisted, and were either a snug fit or too loose. Again leading to a 4 handed affair as you try to hold the slats in, hold the pieces you're trying to connect to the previous part, and you're using those barrel nuts again.Something to note, none of my screw points were started with a predrill. I don't know how they expected you to tap them with just a screw driver as they are adamant about not using power tools. Also the dowel rods get a lot of stress on them when you connect the head assemble to the foot assembly, so be careful there. I had a dowel snap in the process and you get 0 extra parts. The act of putting the bed halves together is also an ordeal, you use weak dowel rods to keep them into place, then you're supposed to screw in the self drilling screws by hand while holding the bed together and the plate on the bed, and after doing all that you then put the legs on. Just use a screw gun for that part. The coating itself is a nightmare to get through without the spots being tapped already, and make sure the holes line up because you're not using those until after you attach the plate with the screws. Now the biggest problem. I had several manufacturing defects that exacerbated the already terrible experience of putting this bed together and made me write the review.Where the 2 halves of the bed connect, I had a long staple that I had to pull out. There are no other staples on this bed. I have no idea why it was there. It prevented the bed from coming together.Another was the protective coating on the wood, on one of the railings there was a massive build up that I had to break apart with a hammer that prevented the railing from moving into position so I could barrel nut it.After assembly it's much sturdier than I thought it would be, but getting to that point was a horrible experience that left me angrily saying "why would you do it this way?" Several times.*excuse the mess my son decided to dump his toys and tear up the styrofoam packagingDidn’t give this a five star only because there wasn’t any clear instructions. Had to take down twice and redo practically everything. Overall still very decent for my one year old. I didn’t want to buy an expensive bed when he’s only one and pretty rambunctious. This will do the job. Shipping only was one day. I didn’t have any issues with receiving things broken or with scratches like some of the other reviews I read. Good buy don’t regret it so far!!Very sturdy, ask a friend to help you put it together it's very frustrating to do by yourselfWell I am just tickled! There were a lot of mixed reviews on this one. I was really hesitant about purchasing but now I am so happy I went with it. The price first off is GREAT! People mentioned they didnt get their hardware so I was nervous but I got mine just fine. Second there were a lot of complaints of it being difficult to build. I am not sure if I am just better at this kind of stuff then most others but I had no problems. I followed each step of directions so I did it right the first time (pay attention to the pictures like - is the hole they are showing on the board visible how I have it?) Also there is one part (the brace) of the bed that you must hand screw. Well I did this WHILE breastfeeding my 10 week old, it cant be that hard! Also there were some people complaining that the bed wouldnt hold, well first of all this is a small childs bed NOT meant for adults. That being said myself (140 lbs) my hubby (210 lbs) my 19 month (30 lbs) and my newborn (10 lbs) ALL sit on it for story time at night. It holds us ALL just fine. We carefully sit and we only do it for bedtime but obviously its pretty durable to hold us all :) One thing I almost dropped a star for was the HUGE safety stickers on both head and foot boards! They are HUGE and sticky so you cant just peel them off. I was so mad, I thought why the heck would you do that!!! BUT after completing the bed and putting the mattress in they are not even visible so I decided to let them keep a star ;) I would recommend. I am very happy with this purchase! This is a fantastic little toddler bed. My self my children recently moved in with her in-laws while my husband is deployed and this is actually the second version of this bed we purchased. We have the wooden color back in our home and we ordered the black for my in-laws house. The bed is super easy to put together, the hardest part is doing the slots that the mattress six on. From personal experience I recommend putting those together flat as in the direction of the bed will actually be used in. The first time we put it together my husband did it standing on its side and it was so much harder. Our bed didn't arrive with any damage or any scratches on it. The bed is large enough off the ground that you can use underneath the bed for storage, however there's no way to put a bedskirt on the bed so you would be able to see the items underneath. The only annoyance I've really had with this product is that the warning stickers come on the side of the headboard that you can see. It took us probably twice as long to pick up all the stickers and get off the residue then it did to actually put the bed together. We love this better in our household. I really appreciate that has guard rails on both sides so that you can face outward and don't have to press one side up against the wall. The bed is very sleek and clean looking and definitely stands the test of time – we've had our first one for over a year and my son regularly would move it across the room and flip it on its side and it held the test of timeSi es fácil de armar, no se necesita un taladro, ya que la madera permite que el tornillo entre a presión, a mi bebé le encanta!Great little bed. Much smaller than I was expecting but very sturdy and good quality for the priceOne of the four screw hole for the middle holding wooden board hasnt been centered while pierced, so I can't fit the screw. The bed is however still holding great and is solid. Other than that, nice delivery time, good materials for the price and clear instructions. Thank you.Cute little bed for my son..no issues yet! Husband didn't seem to have issues putting it together.Bed is very small! It looks like a doll bed. My grandson is already a giant in this bed at 17 months!!!
