These shoes are really waterproof though not in the zipper. The bigger problem is that the lining is made of some incredibly cheap (not even woven fabric) material that is very scratchy and leaves cuts on the skin so long socks are a must! Also, the zipper is flimsy and already coming apart just after a few months.
